Trajectron Story

Trajectron’s story begins with one man’s abiding enthusiasm for airguns: Pramod Paulose. Giving up a steady job to follow his passion, Pramod seized the opportunity to design custom parts and manufacture upgrades for imported airguns in India and air rifles in the international market as well. He launched his firm PCP Shop in 2012 and today it is one of the country’s biggest players in airgun customisation, upgrades, accessories and repairs.

Every shooter is very possessive about his airgun. And Pramod’s impeccable workmanship helped him forge a strong bond with a number of airgun aficionados whose guns he had worked on. Many in the airgun community were certain that Pramod could create an indigenous airgun that would make all of India proud. He participated in shooting sports to become a RENOWNED SHOT, an accolade that would further augment his final goal to manufacture airguns.

One fateful day, Pramod got a phone call from a maverick who was famous for a whole different type of shooting: film-maker Prahlad Kakar.

Prahlad had approached Pramod to customise his airgun to his preference. As the modifications were taking shape, Prahlad, rather impressed with Pramod’s workmanship, convinced him to look beyond mere customisation and echoed the goal to manufacture airguns.

Prahlad got hold of his banker friend Brian D’Souza, another avid shooting enthusiast, to fund the project.

And this unlikely trio, consisting of a master armourer, an advertising maverick, and a financial wizard – India’s Three Musketeers so to speak – came together to create Trajectron.

The House of Trajectron has just unveiled its first airgun, Arawn. This is not just a piece of flawless engineering; it's not just a handsome piece of machinery; it is a chronicle of commitment, dedication and love. In fact, every time you buy a gun from Trajectron, you will be buying much more than a gun; you will be buying a piece of passion and pride.
